Developer Story

My web development journey started from being in a position in my life where I knew I needed a change in direction, which at the time was working in customer service, an industry that I have worked in for 5 years. That is when for the first time in my life, I took a leap of faith, bet on myself and started learning how to code, dedicating each day to putting in hours of online training in order to become a successful software developer and engineer. I have learned HTML, CSS, Javascript and React along with powerful frameworks like Next.js which I used to develop projects from basic websites to full stack e-commerce web applications.

After almost a year of struggling to find work in the tech industry, I was finally given a chance with a local coffee shop in need of a website. This was my chance to show what I was really capable of and whilst it has been a difficult and arduous endeavor, I welcomed the challenge and produced something beautiful that not only the owner was pleased with but it helped their business as well as honed my skills as a developer and communicator. I aim to carry that momentum and continue producing beautifully made web application for businesses from startups to enterprises and anywhere in between.
